Kalpana Foundation Private Industrial Training Institute (ITI) has been setup under the Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) at Purba Bardhaman in West Bengal with an objective of ensure a steady flow of skilled personnel to the public and private sectors, and to reduce unemployment amongst the educated youth by quipping them with the required skills, education and discipline.
Kalpana Foundation Private Industrial Training Institute (ITI) is affiliated to the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) through the Director General of Training (DGT) in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. The training is imparted as per the syllabus and curriculum approved by Government of India in consultation with NCVT.
The KALPANA FOUNDATION is well known in West Bengal for its service extended in the field of education. The Kalpana Foundation in its aims and objectives had also set goal setting up a vocational /Technical Training Institute of high standards. A suitable building was built by the trust to accommodate the institute. Once the notification from the Govt. of West Bengal for opening new ITIs was announced, the Trust, by the grace of god, in time, moved fast and provided and installed the specified machineries and other instruments for Two trades. Kalpana Foundation Private ITI could get sanction and start these trades at a stretch in the initial stage itself. (The Kalpana Foundation Private ITI has been accorded the affiliation by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), through the Directorate General of Training (DGT) in the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India as per order No. DGT-6/25/4/2015-TC dated 25 Aug 2015 with 2 trades and 6 shifts. The institute added more 6 shifts as per the order no. DGT-12/1/2016-TC dated 16 Sept 2016. With this, the dream of Kalpana Foundation to uplift financially the people in Bardhaman, West Bengal, by making quality and state of the art technical education within their wards in the trades they prefer and find out suitable placements for them in the lucrative job market. This would help much in the financial uplift.
